1. Pledge of Securities

Stock Brokers can accept securities as margin from clients only through the pledge mechanism in the depository system, effective September 1, 2020.

2. Verify Your Holdings

Check your Securities, Mutual Funds (MF), and Bonds in the Consolidated Account Statement (CAS) issued by NSDL/CDSL every month.

3. SEBI SCORES – Investor Grievance Redressal

Register complaints through the SEBI SCORES portal.
Mandatory details required:
  • Name
  • PAN
  • Address
  • Mobile Number
  • Email ID

  • Speedy grievance redressal

4. Prevent Unauthorized Transactions

Keep your registered mobile number and email ID updated with your stock broker.
Receive transaction alerts directly from the stock exchanges on your mobile/email at the end of each trading day.

5. One-Time KYC

KYC is a one-time exercise.
Once completed through any SEBI-registered intermediary (Broker, DP, Mutual Fund, etc.), it generally does not need to be repeated with another intermediary

6. IPO Application through ASB

No need to issue cheques while applying for an IPO.
Simply provide your bank account details and authorize your bank to block the required amount.
Funds remain in your account until shares are allotted, eliminating the need for refunds.

7. Trading Account Freeze Facility

As per SEBI Circular No. SEBI/HO/MIRSD/POD-1/P/CIR/2024/4 dated January 12, 2024, clients can voluntarily freeze or block online access to their trading accounts.
To request account freezing:
  • Call 022-4025110
  • Timing: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM (excluding Sundays and Public Holidays)
  • Customer support will verify your identity.
  • Once verified, your trading account will be frozen.

8. Vigilance Awareness Week (VAW 2025
